강아지 코 색깔이 왜 변하는 건지 함께 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
날씨의 변화
겨울이 되면 일조량 부족 현상으로 코 색소가 옅어지는 경우가 있는데요,
이렇게 코 색소가 옅어지는 현상을 ‘스노우 노즈’, ‘윈터 노즈’라고 합니다.
원인은 ‘티로시니아제’라는 멜라닌 생성하는 효소가 온도에 민감하기 때문인데요
추운 계절로 인해 코 색소가 옅어지는 현상이라면 봄이 돌아올 때
다시 색소가 까맣게 올라오게 됩니다.
특히 대형견과 실내견에게서 많이 나타나는 현상입니다,
노화
강아지가 나이가 들수록 코 색깔이 갈색 혹은 분홍색으로 변하는 현상은
노화에 의한 자연스러운 현상일 수 있습니다.
사람이 나이가 들어갈수록 흰머리가 생기듯이 강아지들의 코 색소가 밝아지는 현상도
노화과정 중 하나입나디. 이런 경우는 건강상의 문제가 아니므로 걱정하지 않으셔도 됩니다.
백반증
백반증이란 면역 질환의 일종으로 코부터 색소가 빠지는 현상을 말하는데요.
정확한 원인은 밝혀지지 않았지만 건강에 문제가 생긴 것은 아니라고 합니다.
특히 도베르만, 푸들 종에서 많이 나타나는데요, 이러한 경우에는 자외선을 피해주시고
다시 색소가 돌아오는 경우도 있으니 걱정하지 않으셔도 됩니다.
피부염
강아지들의 코에 피부염이 생겼다면 보통 밥을 먹는 식기가 플라스틱 재질로 된
경우가 원인이므로 유리그릇으로 바꿔주시는 걸 추천해드립니다.
강아지에게 간식으로 당근을 주면 까만 코로 돌아오는데 효과가 있다고 하네요
